Welcoming Three New Superintendents to our Team!

We are happy to announce the newest additions to our Superintendent team – Mark Koch, Dave Young, and Mike Quintero!

These three industry veterans bring a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to HBC. Their commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with our values, and we are confident they will play a pivotal role in our up-and-coming projects.

MARK KOCH

Mark Koch has an impressive 29-year background in the construction industry. His diverse journey began at 17, working for his family's drywall company, and has since evolved to encompass roles in general contracting, HVAC contracting, and facilities management for healthcare complexes. His expertise spans a range of projects, from hospitals and assisted living facilities to commercial and residential spaces. Mark's commitment to excellence is evident in his successful completion of projects varying from 10,000 to 100,000 sq ft, including full remodels for prominent healthcare entities like Quest Laboratories and Optum Healthcare.

DAVE YOUNG

Dave Young is also a valuable addition to our team, bringing a unique skill set and a commitment to achieving positive results. In 2017, after a career in corporate advertising, he returned to the construction industry. Dave has demonstrated his ability to simplify complex tasks and navigate intricate issues effectively. His qualifications include being OSHA 30 Certified, Procore Certified, and Primavera P6 Certified, underscoring his dedication to maintaining the highest industry standards. Dave has contributed his expertise to major projects, notably The Brentwood School and The Press in Costa Mesa, showcasing his proficiency in handling substantial responsibilities. Having previously excelled in business development roles prior to joining the construction industry, Dave's strategic mindset and relationship acumen will undoubtedly enhance our team's capabilities.

MIKE QUINTERO

Mike Quintero is a reliable Superintendent with an impressive track record of over 9 years in the commercial tenant improvement field. Mike's journey began as a laborer, contributing to the safety monitoring efforts at the iconic Wilshire Grand in downtown Los Angeles. His dedication and hard work propelled him through the ranks to spearheading projects at some of the region's largest general contractors. Mike's extensive experience has honed his ability to anticipate challenges and foresee the finished results, allowing him to align seamlessly with the expectations of architects and clients alike. As an OSHA 30 Certified professional, Mike brings not only a wealth of practical knowledge but also a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards on every project.
